The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for managing the company’s IT infrastructure, software systems, and technical support, ensuring seamless operations, security, and optimization. This role oversees core business applications, Office365, network systems, and IT asset management while providing end-user support and troubleshooting. Additional responsibilities include cybersecurity compliance, vendor and contract oversight, and leading IT-related projects, such as office relocations and conference room AV setups. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks while collaborating across teams to enhance efficiency and business continuity.
Responsibilities
Enterprise Administration
Serve as the primary administrator for company infrastructure and systems, including Genie/Zoolz, Spam Titan, Firewalls, Zoolz Cloud Backup, Vipre, Go Daddy website, Stratosphere, Dell Server Support, Viewpoint and Bluebeam.
Configure, maintain, and optimize software systems to align with organizational workflows and objectives.
Manage the organization’s Office365 environment, including user accounts, licensing, and permissions.
Ensure optimal configuration of Office365 services, such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Collaborate with teams across divisions to assess needs, identify improvements, and implement solutions.
Provide training and support to end-users to enhance adoption and effective use of company software and Office365 tools.
Monitor system performance (ERP and Office365) and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operations.
Liaise with software vendors for support, updates, and integration requirements.
Ensure cybersecurity compliance.
Basic IT Support
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to workstations, applications, and networks.
Manage IT inventory, including procurement and deployment of hardware, software, monitors, docking stations, laptops/desktops/iPads Verizon phone systems, etc.
Install and configure hardware and software, including staff computers, printers, iPads, and network equipment.
Provide end-user support for basic IT-related inquiries and issues.
Oversee the maintenance and servicing of miscellaneous printers, copiers, and large-format printers (KIP).
Ensure the security and reliability of IT systems through regular maintenance, updates, and backups.
Additional Responsibilities
Ability to understand and prioritize tasking based on the emergent and day-to-day requirements.
Oversee server management (currently outsourced) and ensure smooth operations.
Manage website updates and maintenance.
Lead technology-related aspects of the upcoming office relocation project.
Provide technical consulting to departments when required
Reviewing Verizon, Cox and Comcast contracts ensuring office needs for phones and internet
Office phone maintenance – troubleshooting, programming phones, speed dials
Maintain & troubleshoot conference room AV and training room AV. Assist with setup for training and meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience managing ERP systems, preferably Viewpoint or Bluebeam.
Strong expertise in Office365 administration, including user management and service configurations.
Solid understanding of IT fundamentals, including hardware setup, network troubleshooting, and software support.
Experience working in industries such as construction or manufacturing is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to support cross-functional teams.
Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications (MS-900, AZ-104).
