Estimator

The Concrete Estimator is responsible for bidding structural, tilt wall, civil, concrete paving and heavy foundation projects. This is a full scope position involving the estimation and follow-up processes.

Responsibilities:

• Estimates concrete for structural, tilt wall, civil, concrete paving and heavy foundation projects
• Completes concrete takeoff with onscreen software
• Budgets
• Performs preliminary scheduling
• Performs scope review
• Issues proposals
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field (preferred)
• 3 years of concrete estimating experience (minimum)
• 2 years of construction operations experience (preferred)
• Strong plan comprehension and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proven written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Must have a valid driver’s license
